Invitation for 2019 ECNU International Forum for Young Scientists (Scholars) & Sub-forum for Chemistry and Pharmacy

一、论坛简介

I. Introduction

为促进海内外优秀青年学者的学术交流和深度合作，必威西汉姆联官网举办年度青年科学家（学者）国际论坛，并依托Betway必威西汉姆联设立化学与药学分论坛，通过专题报告、学术研讨与实地考察，增进海内外优秀青年学者对必威西汉姆联官网、对上海的了解。

To promote academic exchanges and in-depth cooperation between outstanding young scholars at home and abroad, ECNU has taken the initiative to host the annual international forum for young scientists (scholars). During this period, School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering will host sub-forum for chemistry and pharmacy. Through invited speeches on specific topics, academic discussion, and on-the-spot investigation, the forum aims at enhancing the participants' understanding of ECNU and Shanghai.

至今，论坛已成功举办三期，来自多个国家和地区的200余位优秀青年学者参加交流，其中30余名优秀青年学者参加了化学与药学分论坛。

By now, the forum has been held three times, with more than 200 participants from various countries and regions. And more than 30 participants have attended the sub-forum for Chemistry and Pharmacy.

III. Application requirements

年龄在35周岁以下，具有海内外知名高校、研究机构化学或药学博士学位，有连续3年及以上的科研工作经历（成果特别突出的可突破工作年限要求），在所从事的学科前沿领域取得突出的学术成果。

Applicants should be aged below 35, with a chemical or pharmaceutical PhD degree from prestigious Chinese or foreign institutions of higher learning or research institutes, and an overseas research experience of 3 years in succession (those with exceptional research achievements are not restricted by the number of years working overseas), and have made outstanding academic achievements in the frontier area.

五、差旅及住宿

V. Travel Reimbursement and Accommodation

学校为受邀的参会者提供往返机票（欧美地区最高报销1.2万元人民币/人，其他国家或地区最高报销0.6万元/人），国内受邀者往返旅费按国家相关财务规定实报实销，并统一安排论坛期间的免费食宿。

ECNU will reimburse round-trip air tickets for invited participants (up to RMB 12,000 yuan/person for participants from Europe and America and to RMB 6,000 yuan for participants from other countries or regions). Travel expenses for invited participants from China will be reimbursed upon presentation of original receipts based on the relevant state financial policies. Accommodation during the forum is free and will be arranged by the university.
